Kaitlin Cochran Named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American First-Team

TEMPE, Ariz. - Freshman outfielder, Kaitlin Cochran has been named to the 2006 Louisville Slugger/NFCA NCAA Division I All-American First Team. Cochran was also named to the Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year and listed on the Pac-10 First Team.

Cochran (Yorba Linda, Calif.) is hitting .440 with 81 hits, for 17 home runs and 61 RBIs with 12 stolen bases, a slugging percentage of .804, an on-base percentage of .549 and a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000.

Cochran has set new ASU single-season records this year in: home runs (17) and RBIs (61).
