Men's Track & Field Head North for NCAA Outdoor Championships

Art Venegas' UCLA men's track and field team will head north to Sacramento (June 7-10) for the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Championships as the team looks for a strong team finish and numerous all-american honors.
CBS will run live coverage beginning at 12:30 pm (PST) until 3:00 pm (PST). CSTV will also televise events on Friday from 5:00 pm (PST) to 7:00 pm (PST).
After a successful West Region meet, UCLA automatically qualified eight athletes to the NCAA meet, while five received at-large bids. Below is a list of the athletes who will compete at nationals, along with their rank heading into the meet, and the time and day they will compete.
400m - Craig Everhart, 8th (45.68); First round at 6:10 pm on Wednesday; Semifinal at 5:35 pm on Friday; Final at 1:20 pm on Saturday
800m - Martell Munguia, 17th (1:48.50); First round at 3:55 pm on Wednesday; Semifinal at 5:05 pm on Thursday; Final at 12:15 pm on Saturday
110m Hurdles - Kevin Craddock, 18th (13.73); First round at 4:50 pm on Wednesday; Semifinal at 6:45 pm on Wednesday; Final at 5:15 pm on Friday
Long Jump - Joel Tuosto, 12th (25-6.75); Qualifying at 7:15 pm on Wednesday; Final at 6:30 pm on Thursday
Hammer - Boldizsar Kocsor, 8th (219-1); Qualifying at 11:00 am on Wednesday; Final at 12:00 pm on Thursday
