Andrea Duran Named to All-Women's College World Series Team

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - UCLA senior 3B Andrea Duran was named to the All-Women's College World Series Team on Tuesday night following the conclusion of the NCAA Championship Series. Duran becomes the 80th UCLA player to earn All-WCWS honors in the 25th anniversary year of Tournament play.

Duran had two home runs, two triples and 14 total bases in UCLA's four games at the 2006 WCWS. She led the team with two RBI, four runs scored and a .933 slugging percentage, while fielding 12 defensive chances without an error. The senior has also earned Pac-10 Player of the Year, Academic All-America, All-America, All-Region and All-Pac-10 first-team honors this season and is among four finalists for the Honda Sports Award for softball.
