Cal Game at UCLA on Fox Sports Net

BERKELEY, Calif. - California will be featured in one of the three Pac-10 women's soccer matches broadcast by Fox Sports Net this fall, the conference office announced today.
The Cal game at UCLA on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. is part of FSN's Pac-10 package. The network will produce a two-hour show that will be aired on a taped-delayed basis. Distribution information will be available at a later date.
Last season, UCLA won the conference title with a 7-0-2 record, while Cal placed second at 7-1-1 with their best-ever Pac-10 mark. The Bruins were the 2005 NCAA runner-ups at 22-2-2, while the Golden Bears advanced to the third round of the tournament for the first time since 1988, finishing the season at 16-4-2.

Cal opens the 2006 season Aug. 25 at the Wisconsin Invitational in Madison, Wis.
