July 20, 2006
SEATTLE - The kickoff time for the Fresno State at the University of Washington football game, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 16 at historic Husky Stadium, has been changed to 3:30 p.m., making it possible for FSN Northwest to produce and air the game to its five-state region.
Season, Single game and group tickets, as well as three-game mini plans are available for sale through the athletic ticket office at 206/543-2200 or by clicking here.
The game, which was originally scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start, is Washington's final non-conference contest of the season and will serve as only the third meeting ever between the two teams. The telecast is also expected to be distributed via digital cable through FSN's Fox College Sports channel.
The telecast will be the first under a recently-released extension of the partnership that provides FSN Northwest the exclusive rights to all event and ancillary programming for the Husky football and men's basketball programs. The network has been a television partner of the Huskies since 1989.
Washington opens the upcoming football season at home against San Jose State on Saturday, Sept. 2 in a 12:30 p.m. kickoff at scenic Husky Stadium. The Huskies begin Pacific-10 Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 23 at home against UCLA.
