Cusick, Koss Selected For 2006 Cape Cod All-Star Game

LOS ANGELES -- USC third baseman Matt Cusick (Mission Viejo/Santa Margarita HS) and right-handed pitcher Paul Koss (Orange/Orange Lutheran HS) were selected for the 2006 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game to be played this Saturday (July 29) in South Yarmouth, Mass.

Cusick is batting .280 (30-for-107) for Brewster with a home run and 11 RBI in 31 games this season. He has struck out just eight times in 107 at-bats and has a .418 on-base percentage. Koss has made 11 appearances this season without allowing a run for Chatham. He is 2-0 with four saves and with 13 2/3 innings, he has allowed only six hits with seven walks and 17 strikeouts.

The Trojans will open the 2007 season on Tuesday (Jan. 30) at home against Cal Poly in a 6 p.m. game under first-year head coach Chad Kreuter.
