Future Husky Leads Field At Canadian Junior Boys Championship

SUSSEX, NEW BRUNSWICK -- Future Husky golfer Nick Taylor leads the field after the first round of the Canadian Junior Boys Championship held at the Sussex Golf and Curling Club, Monday.

Taylor, a freshman-to-be, shot a one-over 71 in the opening round and sits five strokes ahead of Brad Revell in second place. Taylor's future teammate and fellow freshman-to-be Darren Wallace is tied for seventh after shooting eight-over 78 in the first round.

The Canadian Junior Boys Championship runs through Thursday with 18 holes being played each day. After tomorrow's second round, the field will be narrowed to the low 70 players and ties. The top-10 players and ties will be included in the final round.
