SUSSEX, NEW BRUNSWICK -- Future Husky golfer Nick Taylor shot a one-under 69 in the second round of the Canadian Junior Boys Championship, Tuesday, to hold onto his lead heading into tomorrow's third round.

The UW freshman-to-be maintained his five-stroke lead established after the first round on Monday. Taylor, a native of Abbotsford, B.C., shot a one-over 71 in the opening round (71-69-140). He won the B.C. Junior earlier this summer and hails from the same hometown and course as former Husky James Lepp.

Another future Husky freshman, Darren Wallace from Langley, B.C., is also competing in the tournament. Wallace fell from seventh to 39th after the second round after carding an 11-over 81 (78-81-159). He sits 19 strokes behind Taylor.
