Soccer Fans Invited to Attend KICKS Against Breast Cancer Banquet

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State University soccer program, in conjunction with the Heather Farr KICKS Against Breast Cancer Invitational, will hold a team banquet on Sept. 2 at the Old Main Building on the Tempe campus with the funds raised at the event being donated to two worthy causes.
The banquet, which costs $20 per person, will start at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Current Sun Devil assistant coach Tracey Leone will serve as the keynote speaker and a raffle will be held with winners receiving soccer balls signed by U.S. National Team players. Following the banquet, players from Arizona State, Florida State, Loyola College (Md.) and St. Louis will be on hand for a 20-minute autograph session.
The money raised by the banquet will be donated to two groups with 50-percent of the proceeds going to the Kicks Against Breast Cancer Foundation and the other 50-percent going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Phoenix Chapter. Checks for the event should be made out to 'AZ State Kicks Against Breast Cancer.'
