UCLA opens its 88th season of footballwith a game against the University of Utah on Sept. 2in the Rose Bowl.

Kickoff against the Utes is scheduled for 4 p.m. PDT and thegame will be televised by Fox Sports Net (FSN Prime Ticketin Los Angeles) with Barry Tompkins and Petros Papadakisin the booth and Jim Watson on the sidelines.

AM 570 (KLAC) and the Bruin Radio Network will broadcastall of the Bruin games this season with Chris Roberts andMatt Stevens in the booth and Wayne Cook on the sidelines.The AM 570 feed can also be heard nationwide onSirius Satellite Radio (Channel 118).

The first 10,000 fans in attendance wearing `Bruin Blue' willreceive a free football schedule poster.

This game begins UCLA's 88th season of football. The Bruinsare 56-26-5 overall in openers. UCLA bested San DiegoState by a score of 44-21, in Qualcomm Stadium, inlast season's opener on Sept. 3, 2005.
