Men's Golf Ranked Seventh in Preseason Poll

Tempe, Ariz. - The Arizona State men's golf team is ranked seventh according to the Golfweek preseason poll. Defending champion Oklahoma State, Georgia, UCLA, Clemson and UNLV make up the preseason top five.

Senior All-American Niklas Lemke was also named to the Golfweek second-team. Sophomore Benjamin Alvarado Holley was named to the third-team as well.

ASU was ranked tenth in the Golf World Preseason Coaches Poll.

Last week ASU competed in their first tournament of the fall season at the Topy Cup in Tokyo, Japan. The Sun Devils finished second with a 5-over, 869. Lemke led ASU with a second-place individual finish with a 4-under 212.

Next, Arizona State competes at the Illini Invitational in Chicago, Ill., Sept. 24-25.
