Game #3 -- The UCLA Bruins (2-0) have a bye this week and will begin preparing for the Pac-10 conference opener at Washington (1-1 with a game vs. Fresno State this week) on September 23.

AM 570 (KLAC) and the Bruin Radio Network will broadcast all of the Bruin games this season with Chris Roberts and Matt Stevens in the booth and Wayne Cook on the sidelines. The AM 570 feed can also be heard nationwide on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Last Game -- UCLA improved its 2006 record to 2-0 with a 26-16 victory over Rice at the Rose Bowl.

Defensively, the Bruins held Rice to just 184 yards of total offense, 131 passing and 53 rushing -- and just two of 13 on third-down conversions. The last time UCLA had a better defensive effort was in 2002, when it held California to 173 yards of net offense. The last time UCLA held an opponent to fewer rushing yards was in 2003, when Oregon ran for 45 yards.
