Cardinal Men Tied For Second At Gopher Invitational

Wayzata, Minn. - The Stanford men's golf team shot a 592 (301-291) and are tied for second after two rounds of the Gopher Invitational at Spring Hill Golf Club in Wayzata. Host Minnesota leads Stanford and SMU by two shots heading into tomorrow's final round at the par 72, 7,042-yard Spring Hill layout.

Senior Zack Miller led the Cardinal charge shooting a one-under par 71 in both rounds today. Miller is tied for second overall with a two-under par 142. Teammate Daniel Lim started slowly, carding a 77 in the early round, but rebounded to shoot a 73 in the afternoon outing. Lim is tied for 15th currently with a six-over 150. Freshmen Joseph Bramlett (77-74) and Jordan Cox (76-75) along with Cardinal Rob Grube (78-73) each ended the day with a seven-over 151 and are tied for 19th heading into tomorrow's final round.

SMU's Colt Knost leads the field with a six-under 138 (71-67), followed by Stanford's Miller and Minnesota's Bronson LaCassie who each carded a 142.
