Mackenzie In Tie For 19th After Third Round of Q-School

Rancho Mirage, Calif. - Paige Mackenzie, the 2006 Pac-10 Champion, sits in a tie for 19th after the third stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in Rancho Mirage, Calif. at the Mission Hills Country Club. Mackenzie shot a four-over 76 in the third round, logging a three-day total of 220.

Mackenzie needs to stay within the top-30 to advance to the LPGA's Final Qualifying Tournament, held in Daytona Beach, Fla. from Nov. 29- Dec. 3, 2006. The first 72 holes of the tournament are played on the LPGA Champions Course, while players play the Legends course during the final round. The cut, historically held after 54 holes, will reduce the field to the low 70 players and ties after 72 holes.
