Bruins Tied for Seventh after First Round in Florida

The seventh-ranked UCLA women's golf team was tied for seventh place after the first round of competition in the Fall Preview at the LPGA Legends Course in Daytona, FL.

The Bruins posted a team score of 304 (+16) and trailed first place Georgia by 15 shots. Auburn was second at 298 (+10), followed by third place Tennessee at 299 (+11). Arizona State was fourth at 300 (+12) and Vanderbilt was fifth at 302 (+14).

Senior Hannah Jun and sophomore Ryann O'Toole were the Bruin leaders on Friday. Both players were tied for 16th place after posting two-over par rounds of 74. Sophomore Tiffany Joh carded a 77 (+5) and was tied for 35th place and freshman Lalita Boonnoppornkul was tied for 58th place after signing for a 79 (+7). Freshman Sydnee Michaels was tied for 66th after posting an 80 (+8).
