Bruins Host Stanford At Rose Bowl

GAME #4 - The UCLA Bruins (2-1, 0-1) will host the Stanford Cardinal (0-4, 0-2) in the Pac-10 conference home opener for the Bruins in the Rose Bowl on Sept. 30. The game will be televised nationally by FSN, beginning at 7:15 p.m. Barry Tompkins and Petros Papadakis will be in the booth while Jim Watson will patrol the sidelines for the FSN crew.
AM 570 (KLAC) and the Bruin Radio Network will broadcast all of the Bruin games this season with Chris Roberts and Matt Stevens in the booth and Wayne Cook on the sidelines. The AM 570 feed can also be heard nationwide on Sirius Satellite Radio (Channel 128).

THE 25TH YEAR - The 2006 season marks the 25th year that the Rose Bowl has served as the home of the Bruins. UCLA moved from the L.A. Coliseum in the summer of 1982 and went 6-0-1 in that first year, capping the season with a victory over Michigan in the Rose Bowl game.The season-opening win against Utah was UCLA's 100th at the Rose Bowl. The Bruins own a record of 101-43-2 since moving to Pasadena, including a 3-2 record in Rose Bowl games. UCLA is 16-4 under head coach Karl Dorrell, including a current streak of eight straight wins.
FAN ZONE - For all Bruin home games fans should plan on arriving in the Arroyo Seco early to avoid traffic and picnic at the Rose Bowl. UCLA is sponsoring the Fan Zone in Area H. The Fan Zone contains the AM 570 stage, where fans can watch and hear the Bruin pre-game radio show. It also includes the Food Zone, which includes the following restaurants: American Pretzel, Carl's Jr., Teri and Yaki, Funnel Cakes Etc, Baja Grill, Now You're Poppin', PSI Drinks, Robin's Wood Fire BBQ & Grill, Gourmet Cobbler Factory and Just Chokes. The Alumni Band will also be performing in the Fun Zone.
