USC Baseball Classic Golf Tournament Takes Place On Monday, Nov. 20

LOS ANGELES -- The 12th annual USC Baseball Classic Golf Tournament to benefit the Trojan baseball program will take place on Monday (Nov. 20) at the Dove Canyon Country Club in Dove Canyon. Registration and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 10 a.m. The tournament caps the weekend that includes the Alumni Game on Saturday (Nov. 18) at 11 a.m. at Dedeaux Field and the USC Baseball Alumni Reunion, prior to the USC-California football game at 5 p.m.
Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel has been named title sponsor for the 2006 USC Baseball Golf Classic.
Funds generated from the event will be used towards continuing projects at Dedeaux Field which include new batting cages, a new scoreboard and padding for the outfield fence.
The cost is $375 per person or $1,500 for a foursome. The entry fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, deluxe tee prizes, golfing with a celebrity in each group and post-tournament awards dinner.
