Men's Golf to Compete in the PING Preview

The ninth-ranked Arizona State University men's golf team will compete in the PING Preview hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University Oct. 2-4. The three-day tournament will be held at the par-70, 6,809-yard Colonial Williamsburg Golden Horseshoe Golf Course. The Golden Horseshoe Golf Course will also play host to the 2007 NCAA Championship May 30-June 2.

The line-up for the Sun Devils features senior All-American Niklas Lemke, sophomore All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley, freshman James Dalthorp, sophomore Steele DeWald, and freshman Tristan Bierenbroodspot.

The 15-team field for the PING Preview consists of Arizona State, BYU, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Lamar, Minnesota, UNLV, defending national champion Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Wake Forest and Washington, as well as host VCU. Eleven of the 15 teams are ranked in the latest top 25 coaches' poll.
