Last Time Out: Northwest Collegiate Classic: Senior Chris Collins lead the pack of cougars finishing the event in a tie for fourth place...second for he Cougars was sophomore Max Reinland who shot a 10-over 226 to tie for 34th.... as a team the Cougars finished eighth, ahead of both Charleston and Portland. The Cougars collectively shot a 32-over 897.
Coach Walt Williams, On Men's Golf: ' Outside of Chris Collins last week the team played extremely poorly. I'm not too excited about going down there (Fairfax, Calif.) and playing like that again. So I'm going to try and shuffle it up a little bit, and try to get some life into the five. Jordan Mason played really well yesterday (Wednesday) so hopefully last week was just a blip on the radar that he didn't play well. Chris Collins has played well every round this year basically, so I'm excited about Chris. Jordan Mason got his bad tournament of the fall out of the way and he's going to play really well this week. We need a couple other guys to step up and if they do we could be in the top five. If they don't we could be in the bottom five.'
