SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Stanford moved in as the new leader after the second round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational hosted by Washington at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash., Tuesday. The Husky women's golfers dropped into a tied for seventh in the team race.

Stanford was led by individual leader Mari Chun, who followed her 68 in the first round by shooting even-par 72 in Tuesday's second round (four-under 140 overall). Chun currently owns a six-stroke lead heading into Wednesday's final round. As a team, the Cardinal shot nine-over 297 in the second round and is 24-over 600 for the tournament (303-297-600).

Biting at Stanford's heels is New Mexico, who sits in second at 25-over 300 (301-300-601). Arizona State (29-over 605), Pepperdine (33-over 609) and Arizona (38-over 614) round out the top five.

The Huskies fell from six to seventh after the second round, and are tied with USC at 42-over 618. Kim Shin turned in the best outing of the day for UW, carding a two-over 74 in the second round. Shin is tied for 12th going into the third round (77-74-151). Amber Prange shot nine-over 81 in the second round and is tied for 24th overall (74-81-155).

The 25th annual Ilhanfeldt Invitational field includes 15 teams, six which are ranked in the latest Golf Week Top-30. The final round will take place Wednesday, beginning at 8 a.m. Results and live scoring are available at www.golfstat.com.
