Huskies Tie For 13th at Stanford Intercollegiate

Stanford, Calif. - The Washington Husky women's golf team finished in a tie for 13th place at the Stanford Intercollegiate, held at the Stanford Golf Course. Husky freshman Molly Aronsson was the top Husky finisher, placing in a tie for 13th after carding a 2-over 73 during the final round.
Aronsson's 3-over 216 tournament score is a team-best for the Huskies this season by 10 strokes, and her season-best by 18 strokes. Her even-par 71 during the first round was also a season best by three strokes.
Vanderbilt won the team competition, with Arkansas' Stacy Lewis and Arizona's Alison Walshe tying for medalist honors.
The Huskies head to Las Vegas for their last fall tournament, playing in the Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown at the Anthem Country Club from Oct. 30- Nov. 1, 2006.
