ASU Women's Basketball Tabbed No. 12 in USA TODAY/ESPN Preseason Coaches Poll

The Arizona State women's basketball team is ranked No. 12 in the country, according to the USA TODAY/ESPN Preseason Coaches Poll which was released on Wednesday. For ASU, the No. 12 ranking is the highest rating it has ever received in a preseason poll.
The Sun Devils return 10 letterwinners, including four starters - G Reagan Pariseau, G Jill Noe, two-time All-Pac-10 selection F Emily Westerberg and F Aubree Johnson - from last year's team which tied the single-season school record for most wins (25) and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
ASU will be in action for the first time on Thursday night when it hosts Love & Basketball in an exhibition game at 6:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe. The game will be free to the general public.
The Sun Devils will host one more exhibition game on Monday night when they take on Vanguard University at 6:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. All patrons will be admitted free to that game as well.
ASU will kick off its regular season November 10, 12 & 13, when it hosts the Veterans Day Classic, which will feature Nebraska, New Mexico and Florida Atlantic. ASU will face Nebraska on Nov. 10 (4:30 p.m.), New Mexico on Nov. 12 (noon) and Florida Atlantic on Nov. 13 (6 p.m.).
Tickets are now on sale for all of ASU's home games including its Nov. 19 tilt against the University of Tennessee and the Hoops for Health Classic in which the Sun Devils will face Texas Tech on Dec. 18 in the second ever outdoor game at Chase Field in Phoenix.
