Bears Lose Doubles Match in ITA Indoor Championships

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The California men's doubles team of senior Daniel Sebescen and junior Pierre Mouillon was defeated in the first round in the ITA Indoor Championships on Thursday at the Racquet Club of Columbus, in Columbus, Ohio.

The Golden Bear duo had to square off against the No. 1 seed in the doubles bracket, John Isner and Luis Flores of Georgia. The Bulldogs beat Cal in two sets, 8-2.

Sebescen and Mouillon qualified for the championships after winning the doubles tournament in the ITA Northwest Regional two weeks ago.

The Bears will continue to compete in the event in the consolation bracket, which starts tomorrow.
