Swim & Dive to Host Arizona State and Arizona This Weekend in Pac-10 Action

Nov. 8, 2006

The UCLA swim and dive team will return to Pac-10 action this weekend as they host Arizona State on Friday and Arizona on Saturday. Diving events will begin at 11:00 am on each day and will be held at the Sunset Rec Center, while swim events will start at noon on both days at the Men's Gym Pool.

The Bruins are undefeated this season, having posted wins at home versus Oregon State and UC Santa Barbara, and on the road versus the University of San Diego. Arizona State holds a record of 1-1, while Arizona is 1-0.

Last year, UCLA defeated Arizona State 193.5-105.5 and lost to the Wildcats 145-98. Arizona is the defending Pac-10 champion, while UCLA was the runner-up. In the all-time series between both schools, the Bruins hold a 14-10 edge over the Wildcats and a 15-8-1 edge over the Sundevils.
