Four Trojans Win Against Arizona, Arizona State

USC's Larsen Jensen, Mihaly Flaskay, Viktor Bodrogi and Richard Gosper all posted wins during the first half of a two-day meet against Pac-10 rivals Arizona and Arizona State on Friday (Nov. 10) at the USC McDonald's Swim Stadium.
Jensen won the 1000y free in 9:08.76, more than five seconds ahead of his next closest competitor.
Flaskay, USC's record holder in the 100y breast, won the race on Friday in 54.94, an NCAA consideration time.
Bodrogi, USC's record holder in the 200y fly, won that race in 1:47.36, also an NCAA consideration time.
Gosper, an Australian swimmer in his second stint with the Trojans, out-dueled the field in a convincing win in the 50y free, touching in 20.07, an NCAA consideration time more than a half second ahead of second-place Nicholas Nilo of Arizona.
Scores will be available after the completion of Saturday's competition, which begins at noon.
