'I'm really happy with how we wrestled overall,' said Head Coach Kerry McCoy. 'Our guys wrestled hard and scored a lot of bonus points, which made a difference. Zack Giesen had a huge win and continues to get better. Tanner Gardner continued his winning ways. Overall, it was a good result. This gives us some great momentum for the future.'

The Cardinal returns to action tomorrow at the Fullerton Open, where the squad will have a chance to get an early look at four more conference opponents.
