No. 1 Stanford Finishes Second At Texas Invitational

Austin, Texas - No. 1 Stanford finished second to No. 2 Arizona at the conclusion of action Saturday at the Texas Invitational with the 860 points by the Wildcats bettering the 756 posted by the Cardinal. The freshmen duo of Julia Smit and Elaine Breeden highlighted Stanford's performances on Saturday with Smit winning the 200 back in 1:53.95 and Breeden taking the 200 fly in 1:54.24, both NCAA `A' times that also made Smit the school's all-time No. 3 performer in the 200 back and Breeden No. 5 in the 200 fly.
