USC & CALIFORNIA SHARE TITLE--ROSE BOWL FOR THE TROJANS: USC and California share the Pac-10 title with the Trojans earning the Pac-10 berth in the Rose Bowl by virtue of beating the Golden Bears in head-to-head competition. It marks a record fifth straight year the Trojans have claimed at least a share of the Conference title. For California it is the first Conference football title since 1975.

GOING BOWLING: Six Pac-10 teams have finished the regular season with winning records and will fill out the Pac-10 bowl lineup. Following is the Pac-10 bowl picture:

OUT OF OUR LEAGUE: The Pac-10 compiled a stellar mark of 22-9 (.710) against non-conference foes, the second straight year the Conference won more than 70% of its games against outsiders. The Pac-10 is 7-6 in games against BCS teams from automatic qualifying conferences. In non-conference matchups where both teams were ranked, the Pac-10 holds a 3-1 advantage.
