Forrest Selected To NSCAA Scholar All-Region Team

SEATTLE - Washington junior forward Kevin Forrest was named to the 2006 NSCAA/adidas College Men's Scholar All-Far West Region first-team, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced.

Forrest, who was also selected to the Pac-10 All-Academic first-team earlier in the season, has a 3.47 grade point average and is majoring in business. A native of Edmonds, Wash., Forrest led the Huskies to the second round of the NCAA Tournament this past season as their leading scorer with 16 goals. Forrest was the 2006 Pac-10 Player of the Year and a first-team All-Pac-10 selection.

In order to be eligible for the NSCAA Scholar All-Region team, student-athletes must be a junior in both academic and athletic standing, and have a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average.
