Zach Miller Named Honorable Mention All-America by Pro Football Weekly

Arizona StateUniversity's junior tight end Zach Miller has been named an Honorable Mention All-America selection by Pro Football Weekly, the publication announced Friday.  


The Phoenix, Ariz. native has also been chosen as a Walter Camp All-America selection, an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American, a Second-Team All-America choice by and, a First-Team All-Pac-10 selection, an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American and was one of three finalists for the John Mackey Award, presented annually to the nation's top tight end.


On the season, Miller leads ASU in receptions (49), receiving yards (481) and touchdown catches (four), and is the school's all-time leading receiver among tight ends. 


The Pro Football Weekly 2006 All-America team is highlighted in the latest issue of PFW (Issue date Dec. 18, 2006), which is on newsstands now.


Miller and the Sun Devils will close out the 2006 season against the Hawai'i Warriors in the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl on Dec. 24, ASU's third consecutive bowl game appearance.
