Arizona's Ivan Radenovic Named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - ARIZONA forward Ivan Radenovic has been named the U.S. Bank Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for December 25-31, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Radenovic, a senior from Belgrade, Serbia, averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in leading the Wildcats to a pair of victories last week and extend their winning streak to 11 games. He opened conference play with 17 points, shooting 6-of-7 from the field, and grabbing nine rebounds in a 94-85 win over California. He also dished out four assists to go with two steals and a blocked shot. In the 89-75 win over Stanford, Radenovic scored 22 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out five assists and picked up four steals. For the week, he shot 13-of-21 (.619) from the field, 2-of-3 (.667) from three-point range, and 11-of-12 (.917) from the free throw line.
This is the first weekly honor for Radenovic and Arizona's 68th Player of the Week all-time.
