'There is a lot of competition in my events, so I'm going to have dive well to make the World Championships,' said Krug. 'But I've worked really very hard for this and would love to make the U.S. team.'

The 2007 FINA World Championships will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from March 18 - April 1, with diving taking place March 19-26. Competition will be conducted in five events for both men and women: 1-meter, 3-meter, 10-meter, 3-meter synchronized and 10-meter synchronized.

Krug is a five-time NCAA All-American and has placed as high as third in an international meet in the 3-meter synchronized event with Nancilea Underwood at the 2005 China Open.
