SEATTLE (AP) - Devanei Hampton scored 17 of her 25 points in the first half and No. 22 California took advantage of cold shooting by Washington for a 72-49 win over the Huskies on Saturday.

The Golden Bears (13-4 overall, 4-3 Pac-10) swept both Washington State and Washington on the road for the first time in school history. Cal beat the Cougars in Pullman 55-48 Thursday night.

Bears' leading scorer Ashley Walker finished with 12 points. Hampton made 11 of 15 shots, finishing two off her career-high of 27 set earlier this year against UCLA. She also grabbed eight rebounds.

Rama N'diaye added 11 for Cal.

Washington (12-7, 5-3) shot a season-low 26 percent and lost its third straight to a ranked team - its fifth loss overall to ranked opponents. The Huskies were on the verge of cracking the Top 25 after a nine-game win streak, but lost to Arizona State last Sunday and Stanford on Thursday.

Cameo Hicks led Washington with 12, but was held six under her season average.

While the Huskies struggled to make anything against Cal's zone defense, the Bears shot 58.5 percent and never let Washington get closer than 15 in the second half.

Hampton has picked up her scoring since the Bears' lost last year's Pac-10 freshman of the year Alexis Gray-Lawson to a knee injury on Dec. 10 against Kansas. Hampton was averaging 14.4 points over her last seven games entering Saturday, creating a formidable front line with Walker.

Hampton nearly surpassed that average in the first 15 minutes. Her 3-pointer as the shot clock expired with 5:58 left in the first half gave the Bears' a 26-9 lead and her two free throws in the final minute gave Cal its biggest lead of the half at 35-14.

Washington missed its first nine shots, 20 of its first 24 and shot just 20 percent in the first half. The 17 first-half points were a season-low for the Huskies and just three off the school record for fewest in a half.
