Cougar Men's Basketball Game Against Washington Sold Out
Jan. 16, 2007
PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University men's basketball game against Washington (Saturday, 3 p.m.), at Friel Court is a sell out.
The Cougars (15-3, 4-2 Pacific-10) open a three-game homestand ranked 21st by ESPN/USA Today. The Huskies are 11-6, 1-5 Pac-10.
This is the second sellout of the season for WSU (Gonzaga, Dec. 5). The crowd Saturday is expected to be larger than the 10,755 in attendance for the Gonzaga game because of the number of student guess passes sold for Saturday's game.
There are limited seats left for the remaining six Cougar home games beginning with Oregon State, Jan. 25. Fans are encouraged to purchase their seats in advance to insure availability of game tickets.
In addition to Washington and Oregon State, the Cougars' remaining home schedule includes No. 9 (Associated Press ranking) Oregon (Jan. 27), Stanford (Feb. 8), California (Feb. 10), No. 3 UCLA (March 1) and USC (March 3).
'I encourage fans to buy tickets in advance and avoid gameday lines as well as ensure their spot at game,' WSU Director of Athletics for External Operations Pete Isakson said. 'Advance tickets for the final six home games will be available at Saturday's game against Washington, as well as online.'
Fans who do not have a ticket to the game can view the television broadcast on FSN Northwest.
