Flaskay, Mangoni Win In Loss At Stanford

The No.6 USC men's swimming and diving team, which featured senior Mihaly Flaskay's second win in the 100y breaststroke on the weekend Bay Area swing as well as sophomore Vanni Mangoni's second victory in the 400y IM, fell at No. 2 Stanford, 141-95, on Saturday (Jan. 27), completing the dual meet season.

USC wrapped up dual meet action at 5-2 overall, 3-2 in the Pac-10.

Flaskay won the 200y breast in 2:00:02, complementing his win against Cal on Friday. Mangoni took the 400y IM in 3:52.18.

Senior Larsen Jensen posted a pair of second-place finishes in the 1650y free (15:27.07) and the 500y free (4:41.94).

Junior Richard Gosper was second in the 50y free (20.46), senior Kenny Jenkins was second on 1-meter springboard (336.75) and senior Michael Hilde was second on 3-meter (354.60).
