WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--ARIZONA STATE senior forward Aubree Johnson has been named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 5-11, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Johnson had not led the Sun Devils in scoring since Nov. 15 against Nicholls State, a span of 20 games, yet paced ASU in both of their victories over the Oregon schools. Playing in her final two home games, Johnson went out with a bang, setting career-highs for points in each contest.

Against Oregon on Thursday, Johnson had 17 points, eight rebounds, a career-high four blocks and a career-high tying four steals as she led the Sun Devils back from a 26-18 halftime deficit to defeat the Ducks, 61-48.

However, Johnson's career-high 17-point performance was quickly erased from her personal record book, as she poured in 27 points on Saturday in a 78-63 win over Oregon State. Johnson made a career-best 12 field goals on 15 attempts (.800), while also providing four rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists. Johnson's 27 points and 12 field goals were the most by a Sun Devil ths season in either category and the most since former Sun Devil Kristen Kovesdy also had 27 points on 12 field goals in a win vs. Washington on Dec. 29, 2005.

For the week, Johnson averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 3.5 blocks and 3.0 steals, while shooting a scorching 18-of-25 from the field (.720) and 8-of-9 (.889) from the free throw line.

Arizona State (23-3, 13-2) currently sits a half-game behind Stanford for first place in the Conference standings and will travel to face USC and UCLA this week.

This is the first career Player of the Week award for Johnson and the 29th all-time for Arizona State.
