Bruins Close Out Regular Season at Cal

UCLA Plays at California on Saturday -- UCLA (13-16, 7-10) will conclude the regular season at California (21-7, 11-6) on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m..
Live Coverage -- Dave Marcus will be mikeside for the audio broadcast of the game, beginning five minutes before the top of the hour with the Bruin Countdown pre-game show. The audio broadcast is available, free of charge, at uclabruins.com. Cal will provide gametracker live stats. Saturday's game will be broadcast in the Bay Area on Comcast Sports Net (DirectTV 656).
Looking Ahead -- UCLA will attempt to defend its title at the State Farm Pac-10 Tournament next week at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. The two-team tie breaking formula for seeding is a)head-to-head record; b)record v. team in highest position in final reg. season standings and then working down (if group of teams tied at one position, then use team's record v. the collective group of tied teams); c)won/loss % v. all Div. I oppt.; d) coin toss. (Oregon v. Stan: 0-2; ASU: 0-2; Cal:1-1; Wash.: 0-1; USC:1-1; UCLA:1-1; Ariz.:2-0; OSU:1-1; WSU:2-0).
The Series With California -- This will be UCLA's 50th meeting with California. The Bruins hold a 39-10 series advantage and have won eight of the last nine meetings. The Bruins posted a 77-68 overtime win in Pauley on 12/20/06 and earned wins in two of the three meetings last season - an 80-63 decision in the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament (3/4/06) and a 90-87 overtime win (1/29/06) in Pauley. Cal bested the Bruins in Berkeley by a score of 65-58 (12/30/05).
