Women's Golf Finishes Tied For 10th At Arizona Wildcat Invite

Tucson, Ariz. - Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana shot a 72 today to help the Stanford women's golf team to a tie for 10th place at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona. The Cardinal shot rounds of 299, 309 and 306 to finish with a 914. Arizona State won the tournament with an 868, followed by Duke (876), USC (881), Brigham Young (895), New Mexico (897) and Pepperdine (897).

Tangtiphaiboontana led the Stanford contingent with a tie for fourth place overall after firing rounds of 74-70-72 for a three-over par 216. Duke's Amanda Blumenherst took top individual honors with a three-under par 210. ASU's Anna Nordqvist and USC's Dewi Schreefel tied for second at one-over 214.

Senior Lauren Todd tied for 23rd overall after carding a 225 over three rounds (74-73-78) while teammate Catherina Wand tied for 54th at 236 (75-84-77). Stanford's Mari Chun placed 57th (76-82-79--237) and Ki-Shui Liao finished 78th (86-86-87--259).
