Young Places 14th on 1-Meter Board at NCAA Zone E Diving

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - California freshman diver Samantha Young took 14th place with a score of 483.60 on the one-meter springboard final on Friday at the NCAA Zone E Regional in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Shoreline, Wash., product had taken 15th place in the morning preliminary, with a score of 232.70.
Stanford's Cassidy Krug, who won the three-meter final yesterday, won the one-meter title.
Young competes on the platform tomorrow, the final day of the NCAA Zone E Regional. The platform competition is scheduled to take place 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. CT on Saturday.
