New Baseball Camps Announced

LOS ANGELES -- The USC baseball program will hold a series of camps over the next three months at Dedeaux Field. The Chad Kreuter USC Baseball Camps will take place on three Saturdays, following a USC baseball game. These three camps will be open for high school players and cost $125, which will include two tickets to the USC game and a media guide.
The March 24 game against Arizona State and the May 26 game against Stanford will offer a hitting camp while the April 14 game against UCLA will be a pitching and catching camp. All three games begin at 1:30 p.m. and the camp will start following each game with a conclusion at 8 p.m.
Emphasis for these camps will be directed at individual instruction and include hitting concepts, mental approaches, techniques and fundamentals through drills and practice.
Drills will include live field batting practice, tee work, machine pitching, toss drills, dry mechanic work, verbal discussion and demonstrations.
Kreuter and his staff, along with team members, will conduct all instruction.
Another series of camps, the USC Monday Hitting Camps, will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Dedeaux Field batting cages for ages 10-18. These camps will cost $75 and take place on the following dates: March 12, March 19, March 26, April 2, April 9, April 16, April 23, April 30, May 7 and May 28.
Emphasis for the Monday Hitting Camps will feature the same concepts as the Chad Kreuter USC Baseball Camps. Kreuter and his staff will conduct instruction as well for the Monday Hitting Camps.
