LOUISVILLE, KY. - The California baseball team scored single runs in the first, second, fourth and seventh innings; and received solid pitching from Alex Rollin and Matt Gorgen, in a 4-1 victory over Indiana State Sunday in the final day the Cardinal Classic in Louisville, Ky. The Golden Bears, who finished 2-1 in the tournament with an 8-0 win over Kent State Friday and a 12-9 loss to host Louisville Saturday, improved to 9-11. The Sycamores dropped to 5-5.
Junior right-hander Rollin improved his record to 4-1 by throwing 5.2 innings with five hits, one run, no walks and three strikeouts.
