LOS ANGELES - The No. 22 UCLA women's tennis team cruised to its 10th victory of the season Friday, shutting out Pac-10 foe Arizona, 7-0 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. With the win, the Bruins improve to 10-5 overall, while the Wildcats drop to 7-6. Friday's match does not count in the Pac-10 standings.

The point was clinched at court No. 1, where Riza Zalameda and Yasmin Schnack were 8-4 winners over Arizona's Kasia Jakowlew/Natalia Toporowska.
UCLA continued its dominance in singles play by recording three straight-set wins to clinch the match 4-0. First off was Anna-Viktoria Lind, who downed Tina Razloznik, 6-1, 6-0 at court No. 5. That match was followed by court No. 3, where UCLA's Ashley Joelson was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Toporowska. Wetmore clinched the win for the Bruins at court No. 6, registering a 6-0, 6-3 decision against Orletsky.
Three more Bruin singles players recorded wins after the match was already decided, as Alex McGoodwin (court #4), Schnack (court #2) and Zalameda (court #1) were all victorious. Zalameda battled back from a set down to defeat Arizona's Danielle Steinberg, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 at court No. 1.
