Ramos, Barr and Landers Win at Northridge Invitational to lead Bruin Men

Senior Mike Landers, junior Austin Ramos and sophomore Luke Barr led the Bruin men at the Northridge Invitational on Saturday as all three won their respective events. Landers won the vault with a regional mark of 17-0.75, but has a better vault this season. Ramos won the 1500m in a time of 3:50.56, while Barr won the high jump with a mark of 6-10.75, equaling his season-best.

The Bruins also saw the 4x800m relay win in a time of 7:36.53.

Sophomore Dustin DeLeo picked up his regional qualifier in the pole vault as he equaled his lifetime-best with a vault of 16-6.75 to tie for second. Senior David Murphy tied with DeLeo as he equaled his season-best mark of 16-6.75.

Also in the 1500m, freshmen Alex Crabill was 2nd (3:53.68), Marco Anzures was third (3:54.52), Kevin Sullivan was fourth (3:56.05) and Henry Hagenbuch was sixth (3:57.23).

In the long jump, junior Michael Johnson jumped a lifetime-best 23-2.75 to finish sixth overall.

The Bruins will not compete next week due to finals, but will return to action the following week when they split for two meets - the Stanford Invitational and Cal/Nevada Championships.
