March 18, 2007
The USC track and field team was spread out all over the West coast competing at the Las Vegas Tri-Meet, the CS Northridge Invitational, the Willie Williams Invitational and the Pacific Lutheran meets on March 17 and turned in some outstanding performances, led by Adam Midles' career-best hammer throw at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational in Tacoma, Wash.
The senior Midles set a new PR in the hammer for the second consecutive week when he threw the hammer a stadium-record 225-2 feet (68.64m) to win the competition.
