Public Invited to Support ASU Women's Basketball on Monday

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State fans are invited to Wells Fargo Arena on Monday to view the Sun Devil women's basketball team take on Rutgers in the Greensboro Regional Final, according to an announcement on Saturday by Sun Devil Vice President for University Athletics Lisa Love Vice. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. The game is scheduled to begin a little after 4 p.m.

The Sun Devils, the No. 3 seed in the Greensboro Regional, defeated No. 7 seed Bowling Green 67-49 in one of two regional semifinals on Saturday to advance to the first Elite Eight in school history. In the other regional semifinal the No. 4 seed Scarlet Knights defeated No. 1 seed Duke 53-52.

The winner of Monday's Greensboro Regional Final between ASU and Rutgers will advance to next week's NCAA Women's Final Four in Cleveland.

For those who are unable to attend, Monday's game can be viewed on ESPN and can be heard live on KMVP 860 AM with pre-game coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Valley.
