Huskies Land 11 Swimmers On Pac-10 All-Academic Teams

SEATTLE-- The University of Washington had 11 swimmers named to the Pac-10 All-Academic teams, including eight women and three men. Kim Kripps and Tamon Page were each first team selections.

Kripps, a sophomore, has a 3.98 grade-point average in Science, while Page, a junior, has a 3.53 GPA in Materials Science and Engineering.

Rachel Seely, Brenton Dowdy and Bret Lundgaard were named to the second teams. Seely, a junior, has a 3.49 GPA in International Studies- Asia. Dowdy, a junior, has a 3.31 GPA in Biology, while Lundgaard, a junior, has a 3.10 GPA in Journalism.

Six women were also named to the honorable mention team, including Maggie Bever, Jessica Buchanan, Marisa Chang, Kim Jasmer, Blythe Murray and Rebecca Rogers.
