USC Finishes The Season Ranked No. 15 In Final ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

The USC men's basketball team finished the 2006-07 season ranked No. 15 in the final ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll released today (April 3).
The Trojans went 25-12 during the season, winning a school-record 25 games, tying for third in the Pac-10 Conference and reaching the Sweet 16 in the 2007 NCAA Tournament.
USC, a No. 5 seed, defeated Arkansas 77-60 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, then defeated No. 3 seed Texas and National Player of the Year Kevin Durant, 87-66, before falling 74-64 to No. 1 seed North Carolina in the East Regional semifinal.
The last time USC finished higher in the rankings following the NCAA Tournament was in 2001, when they finished No. 14 in the USA Today/NABC final poll.
