WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- Rory Hie of USC has been named Pacific-10 Conference Golfer of the Month for March 2007.

Hie, a freshman from Lakewood, Calif., posted a win and two other top 12 finishes in tournament play in March. Hie fired a five under par score of 69-68-71--208 to win the USC Collegiate Invitational by two strokes. He followed that up with a tie for sixth at the General Jim Hackler Championship with a score of four under par at the TPC of Myrtle Beach course, and ended the month with a tie for 12th at the Oregon Duck Invitational, helping the Trojans to the team title in that event.

Also nominated for player of the month honors were Lucas Lee of UCLA, winner of the Southern Highlands Collegiate, and Alex Prugh of Washington, co-medalist in the Oregon Duck Invitational.
