The win propelled ASU into the No. 1 spot in women's collegiate golf, according to Golfweek.

Also receiving accolades, freshman Anna Nordqvist was named Golfweek player of the week after capturing her first tournament victory at the 2007 PING/ASU Invitational. Nordqvist shot a tournament-record low 10-under 206 (69-68-69) for the three-round event. Nordqvist broke the record once held by current LPGA golfers Lorena Ochoa and Charlotte Mayorkas.
