Cougar Women Prepare for Pacific-10 Championships

PAC-10 CHAMPIONSHIPS NEXT FOR WSU: The Washington State women's golf team will be competing in the Pacific-10 Conference Championships April 23-25. The 54-hole tournament will be played at the par-72, 6,196-yard Broadmoor Golf Club and hosted by the Washington Huskies.

COUGARS ENTRANTS: Competing for the Cougars in the Pacific-10 Conference Championships April 23-25 will be Amy Eneroth, Diana Hong, Tracy Broders, Brooke Henderson, and Jessica Black.

WSU AT PAC-10 CHAMPIONSHIPS: WSU finished ninth at the 2006 Pc-10 Championships...current Cougars who played last year were Amy Eneroth (tie-19th), Jessica Black (38th), Haley Parson (47th) and Tracy Broders (49th)...Broders also competed for WSU in 2005 (tie-42nd), helping WSU to a seventh place finish.


Feb. 19-20 Pat Bradley Championship, Kendell, Fla. (Host: Florida IU)WSU captured the tea title with a three-day total of 912, with host FIU five strokes back...Amy Eneroth finished second with a +8 total of 224 and Brooke Henderson, at 227, tied for fourth.

Feb. 26-27 Inland Cup, Clarkston, Wash. (Host: WSU)Jessica Black tied for medalist honors with a two-round 151, but lost top honors on the second playoff hole...Mandy Parsons posted a 157 to finish third in the non-team scoring event

March 3-4 Lumberjack Invitational, Sedona, Ariz. (Host: N. Arizona)
WSU finished second one stroke behind leader Northwestern University...the Cougars had a three-round total of 602 strokes...Diana Hong tied for first with a +3 total of 147, shooting rounds of 75-72, while Amy Eneroth tied for tenth...WSU had four women in the top 20.

March 12-14 Rebel Spring Invitational, Las Vegas, Nev. (Host: UNLV)
Amy Eneroth tied for tenth, leading WSU to an eighth place finish among 18 teams...Eneroth opened with a 69 and closed with a 70...Diana Hong tied for 19th and closed the tourney with a 66.

March 26-27 Duck Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (Host: Oregon)
Amy Eneroth won a playoff for top individual honors in leading WSU to a second place finish in the 15-team field...Eneroth closed with a 72 to finish at 222 (+6)...she had rounds of 73, 77 and 72...Tracy Broders finished tied for fourth and Jessica Black tied for 13th.

April 3-4 BYU Dixie Classic, St. George, Utah (Host: BYU)
The Cougars finished tenth out of 16 teams with a three-round 931 score...freshman Diana Hong carded WSU's best score with a 228, good for 20th...Tracy Borders was two strokes back at 230 and tied for 23rd.

April 6-7 Stanford Intercollegiate, Stanford, Calif. (Host: Stanford)
WSU broke out of its slump during the second round and finished seventh with a 594 score...the Cougars shot a 287 the final day, the third best score of the day...Tracy Broders was +3 at 145 and finished 11th.

April 23-24 Pacific-10 Championships, Seattle, Wash. (Host: Washington)
